India VS West Indies 3rd ODI 2009 - Live

After the first and second ODI being gone to each of the teams, the third ODI in 4-match ODI series is going to decide who will not be the looser in the series. Seeing the first and second ODI, West Indies seem to be better with contributions from most of the players in each form of cricket. West Indies has got good opening with the bat with Gayle and Morton. The bowling which seemed off the target in first ODI improved a great extent in the second one.

Date: Jul 3 Match time: 09:30 local, 13:30 GMT,

India has now problems in opening with both bat and ball. Gautam Gambhir in some recent matches has stuggled. In absence of Sehwag another genuine opener required. Dhoni and Yuvraj are in good touch but rest seem to be struggling. Bowling is nowhere praise worthy. Ishant Shama, Praveen Kumar and RP Singh are not able to provide quick breakthroughs in the top and spinners too have not been so impressive.

For third ODI, Gambhir must come back to the form and either Yuvraj or Dhoni must lead the innings if India are to make a good impression with the bat. For bowling extras must be minimized and the openers must make definite strategy against Gayle.

India Vs West Indies 2nd ODI 2009 in Jamaica - Preview

After The World T20, the first ODI was played in T20 style with high run rate and massive total. The second ODI is to be played in same ground with almost same players and of course same teams which means another T20-like ODI can be expected. Though India is leading 1-0 in the series, it seemed that Yuvraj Singh's brilliance was the only cause of their win in first ODI. This time India requires more effective bowling and a better opening with bat capable of playing against short-balls and express deliveries of Taylor crossing 90 mph.

Date: 28th June, 2009
Time: 09:30 local, 14:30 GMT, 8:00 PM India
Venue: Kingston, Jamaica

Indian bowling was horrible and their inning with bat was due to one man. On other hand, West Indies though couldn't chase the target batted beautifully with four players making valuable contributions. West Indies managed a team work. India are likely to come with the same team, so Gambhir and Rohit Sharma today must be able to play well against the fast ball to give India a better start. Indian bowlers must reduce the extras which were flowing in first ODI.

Watch out for:Yuvraj Singh: Who made a superb century last time.
Darren Bravo: Played a short-inning of 19 but look handy with the bat and reminded of Brian Lara.
