ICC Cricket World Cup 2011 is just a few days away. India, Sri Lanka and Bangladesh are hosting this mega events with the participation of 14 teams.     It is very difficult to say who will won the world cup, b'coz cricket is game of uncertainity, so I think IND, AUS, SA, SL is qualifying for semis, and it was realy amazing matches in world cup history.

    I think India will be playing under too much pressure to WIN and I think that will be big disadvantage for them. As you now cricket is all about upsets and that will some opportunity to Pakistan to come on top as they have nothing to loose.

    After the Ashes I thought England looked strong and organised but after Australia hammered them in the ODI series, I realised that they need a bit more experience before they can challenge for the WC. Also, I think:

    India have a strong, experienced batting lineup, competitive bowling and playing at home makes them big favourites.

    Sri Lanka also look strong but apart from Dilshan, Jayawardene and Sangakkara they have quite a weak batting side. Malinga and Murali, when fit, will be very dangerous.

    South Africa have a chance but the pressure often gets to them in big tournaments (hence why they've never won a WC). Certainly, with Steyn, De Villiers and Kallis they have a very talented side, and Smith is a brilliant captain.

    Australia are dark horses in my opinion but without the likes of McGrath, Hayden and Gilchrist they are not favourites.

    Pakistan can beat anyone on their day, but despite talented individuals they are not consistent enough to win in my opinion. Afridi is brilliant though.

    Also, I don't think weaker sides should be in major competitions unless they can give big teams a good game (such as when Neth. nearly embarrassed Eng. recently!)

    now 2nd round starts..letz take India vs australia game. This game will be so exiting as these two teams are world class teams. To tell the truth india is lacking the pace power. Only zahir is the pick of the pase bowlers. Others are not that effective. And then comes harbajan. So basicly all da responsibility is on those two. Theres no comparison to indian batting line up. They all are in good nick and if shewag gets going itz imposible to stop them under 350..australian side is a balanced side. With playrs like pontin watson and clarke itz rly hard to ball to them. But they havent being in gud nick so if thy gets a start v cn see some fireworks. And then comes australian pace attack which is da most powerful one in da world..lee michelle tait and watson are wicket takin optins..they were playin wel in dis tournamnt as wel..considerin da home advantage and the legendary tendulkar factor i tnk india has da edge of dis game..but it wil be a stuning game to watch......(Dinesh from sri lanka)

    PRESSURE is on Indian side. On Indian soil India
