ICC has confirmed the all the dates and fixtures of ICC World Twenty20 also known as T20 World Cup 2012. The tournament is scheduled to start from September 18 which will feature all together 12 international teams. The teams will be 10 test-playing nations and 2 teams from the qualifying stage to be played later at UAE.
Altogether there will be 26 matches played with 2 semis and 1 finals. Sri Lanka has confirmed that the matches will be played at Colombo, Pallekele and Hambantota. In the first round there will be 4 groups consisting 3-teams in each. The top 2 teams from each group will qualify for the next stage.
