IPL starts from 12 March, Friday with the first match between Deccan Chargers and Kolkata Knight Riders at Mumbai. Along with this match, there will be a grand opening ceremony at the DY Patil Stadium in Navi Mumbai. The 60-match tournament will officialy start in the opening ceremony featuring the 8 teams as well as a lot of other attractions from world of cricket as well as Entertainment.
Here are the major attractions of the IPL 2010 opening ceremony:
1)Honoring of all 8 teams in the IPL.
2)Performances from Ali Campbell, Bjorn Again, Bollywood star Deepika Padukone and pop star Lionel Ritchie with a wide variety of backup dancers.
3)IPL's save environment will be shown solidarity by captains as they sign the globe made of eco-friendly material.
How to watch IPL 2010 opening ceremony live online for free ?:
As most of us know, IPL matches as well as opening ceremony will be available live on IPL's Youtube channel - Youtube.com/IPL. Due to technical as well as broadcast related issues it may be delayed by few minutes. If available we will embed the live telecast in this page.
