List of players registered for IPL 2010 auction

A total of 97 overseas players have registered for the auction of Indian Premier League, IPL 2010. The list of players includes 26 players from Pakistan, 17 from Sri Lanka,12 from South Africa, 9 from New Zealand, 9 from Australia, 8 from West Indies, 8 from England, 2 from Bangladesh, 2 from Zimbabwe, 2 from Canada, 1 Ireland and 1 from Netherlands. The players will be listed in January 19 auction if the Franchises express interest on them. Last year out of 100 registered 50 were in auction for 17 places.

This huge list has been cut down to final 51 players for IPL auction



Among the players, many are those who played for the Indian cricket League (ICL). Pakistani players couldn't play the IPL 2009 and only 4 have retained the contracts. All others apply for the auction. Mohammad Aamer and Umar Akmal are the promising players from Pakistan in the auction list.

Here is the list of players from Different countries who registered for the IPL 3 auction:
