Mumbai Indians won the inagural match of DLF IPL 2012 against the defending champions Chennai Super Kings by 8 wickets. Richard Levi, the South African was the hero for Mumbai Indians who scored a brilliant 50. In reply to Chennai 112 all out in 19.5 overs, Mumbai got the target in just 16.5 overs loosing two wickets.
