It was all the way Lasith Malinga in the opener for Mumbai but the difference was this time with his bat, probably for the irst time in his career. Harbhajan and Malinga got 53 runs partnership in 4.3 overs to overcome Chennai in their home. Malinga made 37 off 18 with 3 fours and 3 sixes.

ReplyDeleteMumbai Indians won the match on the luck which was with Malinga. Lasith Malinga is been expected to win matches for Mumbai Indians with the ball, but this time he does the job with the bat. Two straight sixes from Malinga off Jakati gave Mumbai a hope and there was some senseless swinging. Few chances were missed from CSK, Dhoni missing the stumping of malinga at crucial moment of jakati and Raina dropping same batsmen again of jakati.
