Feroz Kotla Stadium hosted the first 200+ score and that came in both the innings of Delhi DareDevils and Kings XI Punjab. There was the flow of runs when Punjab were just 29 runs sort of 231 runs made by Delhi.
Sehwag and Warner started the innings after winning the toss in a very high. They made 146 runs partnership in 11.4 overs. Sehwag was the first one to go with 77 off 35 (8X4s and 4X6s). At 16th over Warner go outin 77 off 48 when the team score was 176/3. Then Venugopal Rao (28*) and Nawan Ojha (19*) were the cameos at the end which got the team to 231 runs.
In reply to the huge total, Punjab's new hero Valthaty got early but Shaun Marsh and Adam Gilchrist took the match ahead. Gilchrist made 44 runs off 33 balls. Shaun Marsh continued his brilliant form in IPL and team were one stage 150/3 in 15th over with Hussey and Mars in crease. But the target was too high and the innings had to crummble at the end. Marsh was out on 95 off 46 (9X4s and 6X6s). Finally, Punjab were settled in just 202 runs in 20 overs.
