Ireland won against England side while playing at Chinnaswamy stadium and Indian got their match tie against England. Sweet memory for Ireland, but they are aware about the side they are taking on 6 March. This is the best part about this Irish team, they know there limitation and playing within them, I have not even heard any of the big statements from any of Irish players. But after seeing their last two performances they have an outside chance to take on the Indian bowling attack which doesn’t look impressive except Zaheer and Harbhajan. Their shave or dye campaign have attracted a lot of peoples and love to see them playing for a cause which is helping them to generate money for the Irish Cancer society. Irish team have to play against some of the best stroke players of modern time and would be facing good spin bowler, hope they perform to their full potential and give India run for their money.
ReplyDeleteIndia going into the world cup with arguably the strongest batting line up and performed with them, but weak link is their bowling. Two bowlers can’t win you matches; there should be help from bowlers who can bowl around two main bowlers. Till now Zaheer and Harbhajan are the lone bowlers who put of impression with bowling and a bit of Munaf, all other are just want to forget their last two performances. Its good time to see if Nehra is fit and ready to play, he can be a good option. Against Ireland India can do some experiments with playing in with five specialist bowlers, keeping Chawla and Pathan out and include Nehra and Ashwin. Ashwin should be front runner as there are a lot of left hand batsmen in the Ireland side and ball going away from the bat could be difficult to manage.....
