Highlights of India vs New Zealand 3rd test 2010

India defeated New Zealand in the final Test at Nagpur by an innings and 198 runs. After the two draws in the series it was important for the home team to perform and perform well for the victory which came in the 4th day of the test with 4 more sessions remaining.

Not much for the New Zealand team after the two draws. New Zealand were suppressed by the Indians in both batting and bowling department. New Zealand managed 193 runs in the first innings and 175 in the second. in other hand India declared at 566/8 in 1st innings.

New Zealand were still trailed by 349 runs at the start of Day 4 and had to loose 9 wickets for 151 runs in the day. Earlier Rahul Dravid scored fantastic 178 runs in the Indian innings.
