  1. Will Sky Sports show India v Australia Series LIVE?

    ReplyDelete
  2. I've emailed them to find out though these rights (as we know) could go down to the last minute

    ReplyDelete
  3. Doesnt look like anyone is showing this series in UK. I spoke to Sky yest and they said they are not showing it.

    ReplyDelete
  4. Any news on who is broadcasting in UK.

    ReplyDelete
  5. surely someone has to show it in the uk??

    ReplyDelete
  6. If its true & Sky are not showing it in the UK, it could go to either one of these ESPN, Setanta, Zee or Sony (Or someone else)

The last time this happened was when Australia came to India in October 2004 for the Test Series & the rights were given to Setanta at the very last minute.

    ReplyDelete
  7. The reason why we are all asking the same question because the BCCI are only interested in who can give the them the most money to view the series

    ReplyDelete
  8. I cant believe such a high profile series before the ashes noone in the uk is showing it

    ReplyDelete
  9. A channel? come on some one should get the rights.

    ReplyDelete
  10. sky are likely to get the rights
    http://media247.co.uk/bizasia/newsarchive/2010/09/sky_sports_to_s.php

    ReplyDelete
  11. Do not blame BCCI. Sky is also no saint. They always want to pay minimum and this is a high voltage series. Come on Sky...... don't spoil your image by showing SA - Zimbabwe or some similar low TRP series.

    ReplyDelete
  12. omg i called up sky and they said its broadcasting on living tv.

    ReplyDelete
  13. Why blame BCCI when the rights are with Nimbus. Hope they give to Euro sport or itv. Sky is becoming very expensive. 20 pounds for a month cant afford it.

    ReplyDelete
  14. Any news yet on confirmation of who will show the series?

    ReplyDelete
  15. WTF Living TV???
Are you sure or did you try and say live on tv? hmmm

    ReplyDelete
  16. Living TV - surely not?

Gianni - you're right to say that Setanta (via PPV) showed the Ind vs. Aus test series in Oct 2004. Let's hope a broadcaster in the UK shows the upcoming test series...I agree that we may not find this out until the very last minute tomorrow evening.

    ReplyDelete
  17. its not coming up on their tv schedule though - and its not really the type of channel they would be willing to pay for

come on sky.... i don't want to have to try and get zee for one month (if i even can on virgin - anyone know?)

    ReplyDelete
  18. Jai bolo tvu player kiiiiiiiiiiiiiii

    ReplyDelete
  19. Yes, Virgin do have Zee TV in their channel line up...£10 a month for the entire Asian package (about 11 channels)...
Mr X - good shout, that's probably exactly what was said!
My bet is that Sky Sports will be showing it...time will tell though.

    ReplyDelete
  20. I don't mind if its aired on Sony...as then it would mean shelling out £17 per month and get around 8 channels including Max!

    ReplyDelete
  21. Sky will come good, my brother said the studio is ready. Just Nimbus are being hardcore with the price and that. They will win as Sony are the small company.

    ReplyDelete
  22. Actually the BCCI sell the right to Nimbus then they decide to negotiate who gets the rights. So its really the 3rd parties that make it so annoying. Only Indians could do this, no other country. Living TV 'do not' show Sports on their Channels

    ReplyDelete
  23. Any News in US ? Who will show in us. Just confirmed that ATN canada is launching new channel Neo Cricket form Nimbus Sports. WoW

    ReplyDelete
  24. YES!!! Sky will show the 2010 India / Aus Test series.

    ReplyDelete
  25. Astro will show Ind vs Aus in Malaysia. Ryder Cup and Teleshopping on Sky Sports.

    ReplyDelete
  26. ATN Canada will launch NEO Cricket.

    ReplyDelete
  27. Middle East including UAE will show it on NEO Cricket via Pehla TV.

    ReplyDelete

  29. It is on ITV3 just advertised

    ReplyDelete
  30. who is showing in US

    ReplyDelete
  31. Who's showing it? ITV or SKY SPORTS?

    ReplyDelete
  32. Regarding UK telecast, I cannot find it on sky tv schedules or ITV3, can anyone send links to a news report or a phone number where this can be confirmed, or where they got the news from?

    ReplyDelete
  33. Please confirm who is showing the series in UK?P

    ReplyDelete
  34. Who's showing it then? Sky or ITV???

    ReplyDelete
  35. cant find any info of itv3 broadcasting the series

    ReplyDelete
  36. Just checked ITV3 listing. It is not there.. You sure it is in ITV3 in the UK pls?

    ReplyDelete
  37. Where did you see the Advert of ITV3, as I log'd on to their website and couldn't get a confirmation.

    ReplyDelete
  38. It is official there will be a blackout in UK and USA. People stop asking for who got the rights. Nimbus politly asked in February and March 2010. Although the UK fans are in unrest about seizing cricket for pay tv.

For the USA subscription to ZEE Sports is $249.99 a year. Nothing but reruns of ICL, Indian Football and classic cricket. Echostar rushed to get Willow Cricket. Echostar has now lost rights to England, Pakistan and India Cricket.

    ReplyDelete
  39. I can't see any info about ITV3 broadcasting it in UK. Where did you get this info? I really wish it is Sony who gets the UK rights, Sky Sports is far too expensive.

    ReplyDelete
  40. ITV3 don't broadcast cricket it's ITV4 thats shows the IPL but i doubt they will show test cricket.

    ReplyDelete
  41. Does anybody really know who is showing India vs Australia in the UK?

    ReplyDelete
  42. How do you know that there will be a blackout in UK?

    ReplyDelete
  43. http://www.digitalspy.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?t=1308616&page=10

    ReplyDelete
  44. No

I would suggest its all a bit late now. Why the BCCI thinks that this childish brinkmanship does anyone any good i dont know. Surely a station will pay more for an event for which they can have the time and space to promote the coverage?

    ReplyDelete
  45. No. all to late now isnt it? What a farce

Why the BCCI thinks that this contsant brinkmanship is of any use i dont know. Surely a station will pay a premium if they are given time to promote the coverage? Childish but not untypical behaviour from India

Sky seem to be able to deal with just about everyone else, so its clear where the problem lies

    ReplyDelete
  46. IN USA I AM IN DARK ROOM TOO. JUST 12 HOURS TO GO FOR THE MATCH BUT NO IDEA WHAT CHANNEL IS SHOWING INDIA VS AUSTRALIA.

IF ANY BODY COME TO KNOW JUST POST THE CHANNEL NAME HERE.

    ReplyDelete
  47. what's the final word then?

    SKY OR ZEE CAFE?

    ReplyDelete
  48. No info yet as who is telecasting the series in UK?

    ReplyDelete
  49. looks like it will have to be on TVU!!! does not look like any channel got the rights in the end which is a shame!

    ReplyDelete

  130. IN USA NEO IS PLANNING TO LAUNCH THEIR OWN CHANNEL(NEO CRICKET) BUT NO BODY KNOWS.SO WAIT UNTIL THE NEXT UPDATE. I SPOKE WITH DISH NETWORK BUT THEY DO NOT HAVE ANY CONFIRMATION ABOUT WILLOW CRICKET WILL SHOW IND VS AUS SERIES. SO FOR NOW NO BROADCASTER IS SHOWING THIS SERIES IN USA.

    ReplyDelete
  131. Neo cricket will be launch in USA before INDIA vs NEWZELAND series.Nimbus India is ready to give the broadcasting right to one of the channel of USA but the contract is not signed by the channel.

As per my talk with Nimbus in india they talk me that the contract will be sign in 3-4 days so you will be able to see 2nd test match and 3 odi on other channel untill they launch NEO SPORTS in USA.

    ReplyDelete
  132. Neo is releasing in Canada under ATN NEO, however I see it coming to US too

I just called Dish again, and they said Willow Cricket is NOT showing for sure but Zee Sports might and they haven't received confirmation

    ReplyDelete
  133. Guys.. its on Sky Sports 3!.
    Cheers

    ReplyDelete
  134. it will be stupid to show in zee sports (for the temporary purpose) since that requires a yearly contract with dish network. no point in year contract if neo will release a dedicated channel shortly.

    ReplyDelete
  135. what happen to neo sports in usa. why no one is telecasting in usa dishnetwork why not telecasting. launch fuking neo sports.

    ReplyDelete
  136. any words who is showing series in usa.thanks.

    ReplyDelete
  137. Anyone know when Neo Cricket will lauched in USA thanks

    ReplyDelete
  138. PLEEEEEESSSSSSSSSSS TELL ME WHO'S SHOWING CRICKET IN USA . IND VS AUS

    ReplyDelete
  139. There is no news yet for broadcaster in USA. please wait until the next update from Nimbus sports communication INDIA. they are planning to launch Neo sports in USA so they do not want make long term contract with the USA broadcaster.so none of the broadcaster want to do short term contract with NIMBUS. that is the reason its on hold.

    ReplyDelete
  140. here the latest news from nimbus in India I spoke with them on the phone at 4:46 IST (+91 22 26352000) they said no deal signed for USA. so no India vs Australia cricket in USA. they spoke with SAHARA one channels for only India vs Australia series but sahara one said they want 4 year rights from them as they gave to the SKY sports in UK but nimbus are planning to launch their own NEO CRICKET in USA so they rufuse the offer.and SAHARA ONE also refuse the offer for INDIA vs AUSTRALIA series.and they haven't make any deal with Direct TV & Dish network so guys we have to wait until next update.

    ReplyDelete
  141. Thank You for giving update guys.

    ReplyDelete
  142. this is so messed up i have both dish and direct tv i pay for both the pay per views and i have zee sports still im not able to watch this series on television

    ReplyDelete
  143. i think there is no brodacaster for boring odis in india.sehwag, sachin, no one is playing who cares channels people needs to be smart and no don,t brodcasting even for free in usa. i think whoever will brodcast in usa will be stupid it will be waste of money. who cares i am looking forward to india vs new zealand hopefully that time neo sports will be aviable for usa in dishnetwork. go india go. cmw games are great they launch dd sports in usa and dd1

    ReplyDelete
  144. NEO Cricket in USA/Canada by 2011.

    ReplyDelete
  145. bad news neosports decided not give telecasting to usa people bc obama is coming in india to get rights for usa on dishnetowrk.

    ReplyDelete
  146. 905-836-6460 call this number in canndaa they are working on it neo sports hopefully we will it soonnnnnnnnnnnn in usa too. usa ppl nothing in india vs australia odi. it will waste of money to buy packages now.

    ReplyDelete
  147. why not shown in pakistan.india matches tell us

    ReplyDelete
  148. Neo Cricket is launched in USA but via comcast cable servises. not via DISH NETWORK or DIRECT TV.

so DIRECT TV & DISH NETWORK users have to wait until the deal is going to finalize by NIMBUS and them.

$19.95 per month for Neo Cricket on comcast network.

    ReplyDelete
  149. In addition, NEO Cricket airs Cricketainment shows, 3 of which are daily shows such as Dial C for Cricket, Sportszone and Encounter. It also hosts shows like Balebaaz, Baat Aur Bowl, Jaya He, The Great Indian Run Chase,Tour Diary and a few more.
