Both the teams have played each match in the Asia Cup 2010. India in their first match whereas Pakistan were defeated. Pakistan was defeated by host Sri Lanka in the 1st match of the tournament. India defeated Bangladesh with a bonus points in the 2nd match of the tournament.
Lots of more expectations from the viewers as Shoaib Akhtar is back on the field. Its always great to see him bowl against Sehwag, Dhoni and other Indians. Shoaib was pick of the bowlers in the 1st match.In the case of slower bowlers they have been doing well for Pakistan and they will be surely cause of problems in the SL's pitch. Indian batting has long tail, Gambhir getting the form from the 1st match will hit them from the first. Not much was needed by the batsman on the 1st match so they'll be really tested against the Pakistanis.
Shahid Afridi, Pakistan captain would be pick of the batsman after his century in the opening game. He was playing really good and at some time it really seemed he'll take the team to victory. The problem was other batsman not giving out the support. Only two other batsman, U Akmal and Razzaq got some start but wasn't much of big contribution. So, Pakistan needs to fire up in the batting department. Shoaib Mallik could get his form and reputation back on the team as he loves playing against the Indians. Young legs of Akmal, Umin, Hasan will really be tested there. Sehwag was the hero in bowling dept in 1st match for India but remember we can't expect this from him especially against the tougher opponents. Pacers need to perform more as their performance against Bangladesh was good with some areas to improve.
