Along with ESPN Star's Star cricket, Doordarshan will also telecast the T20 World Cup 2009 in England.Star cricket will be broadcasting every matches of the series while Doordarshan which is accessible to more people in India will be broadcasting the matches played by India in group stage along with the final and semi-final of the tournament. It has a big group of commentators including Wasim Akram, Sanjay Manjrekar, Alan Wilkins, Harsha Bhogle, Nasser Hussain, David Lloyd, Ian Chappell, Simon Doull, Kepler Wessels, Ian Bishop, Ranil Abeynayake, Athar Ali Khan and Jeremy Coney. It will be showing a pre and post-match show "Cricket Extra" hosted by Manjrekar and Bhogle.
