Pakistan defeated host India by 5 wickets with 2 balls remaining to clinch the 1st T20. India batting first were restricted to just 133 runs from 20 overs losing 9 wickets despite the opening 77 runs partnership Rahane(42 0ff 31) and Gambhir(43 off 41) started pretty well after losing the toss. Then the partnership were lacking for India. Umar Gul picked 3 wickets, Ajmal got 2 whereas Afridi and Mohammed Imran shared 1-1 wickets.
In reply, Pakistan lost 3 quick wickets to Indian debutant Bhuvneshwar Kumar making the total 12-3. Skipper Hafeez(61 off 44) and Shoaib Malik(57* off 50) got the game back to pakistan with 106 runs partnership for the 4th wicket. Shoaib Malik struck 6 runs of R Jadeja with 2 balls remaining.
