Paul Valthaty's hundred in IPL 2011 [video]

Paul Valthaty has become the first player to score a century in the fourth season of IPL. Valthaty, playing for Kings XI Punjab made a hundred in just 52 balls. KXIP were chasing a target of 189 made by Chennai super Kings. He made a total 120 not out in 63 balls and smashed 19 fours and 2 sixes.

It was Valthaty's inning which won the match for Punjab. Opening the inning, he made 61 runs partnership with Gilchrist. While other partners couldn't score more than 20 runs, Valthaty kept going on.



Earlier, Badrinath and Murali Vijay made fifties and Dhoni made a quickfire 43 of 20 balls for the Chennai team as they made 188 in 20 overs.
