India 1st Inning: 520 all out in 152.4 overs
New Zealand 2nd Inning: 75/3 in 31 overs.
India dominated the third day of first test against New Zealand after a superb 42nd century from Sachin Tendulkar. Along with getting 242 runs in 3rd day, India were also able to grab New Zealand's 3 wickets. The credit goes to Tendulkar who made 160 runs and Indian lower order too which helped a lot in reaching 520. Zaheer Khan, the 9th man made 51 not out runs of 46 balls which helped to extend the Indian lead to 241 runs in first inning.
From the start of day, Tendulkar seemed great. Yuvraj got out earlier but Dhoni who was on other side gave a great support to Tendulkar and they made a 107 runs partnership. Dhoni managed 47 runs before being caught by McCullum of O'Brien. Sachin was then out. Harbajan couldn't last long. Zaheer played an entertaining inning and took India over 500.
In reply, India bowled beautifully and it seems India can win the 1st test by an inning.
More to come...
